Stay In The News!

Tick tock goes Queen Latifah’s biological clock.  The singer/rapper/actress wants a baby and she wants to have it the old fashioned way by being pregnant.   Since the Queen is so secretive and private, it’s pretty surprising to hear this kind of news. 

In a recent interview about her new movie, “The Secret Life of Bees”, She says that she chose the role of “August Boatright”  because

“August was just so nurturing and maternal and comfortable in her own skin,”

she also said:

“I felt she would be fun to play, and initially I wasn’t sure – hey, who knows? – I might be pregnant by the time we shoot, and this is the kind of film you could do when you’re pregnant. August communicated love for the most part, and that is OK if you’ve got a little one in there and all that love is flowing through your mind. It could be kind of cool.”

“I will probably be six months pregnant before anyone knows about it,” she says, “and I won’t talk about the baby until after it’s born.”

Queen Latifah says she does not discuss her sexuality or personal life.

When asked about the rumors of romance with her “personal trainer” The Secret Life of Bees star says:

“I don’t feel like I need to share my personal life, and I don’t care if people think I’m gay or not.” not.”

“Assume whatever you want. You do it anyway.”

“I don’t have a problem discussing the topic of somebody being gay, but I do have a problem discussing my personal life. You don’t get that part of me. Sorry. We’re not discussing it in our meetings.”

J-Hud, Queen Latifah & Alicia Keys in Ebony

Queen Latifah, J-Hud, Alicia Keys are starring in the new movie, The Sercet Life of Bees.  They were in the recent issue of Ebony to talk about how much fun they had on the movie.

Queen Latifah’s girlfriend was spotted several times on the set making sure that nobody else became the Queens princess.  Just kidding.
