Being Sued

Kimberly Jones aka Lil Kim has been temporarily barred from recording any new material.  This breach of contract Lawsuit filed with her last label Brookland Media. 

Kim has been accused of backing out of her deal, stiffing them, and making diva-ish demands after signing her to an exclusive record deal.  Kim was making demands to let other artists such as WyClef Jean and Akon be added as producers which was not a part of the original contract. 

Brookland Media paid $12k rent per month for Kim’s lavish house near her Alpine, NJ home. Brookland also paid Atlantic Records $200k to buy out her previous contract and spent another $240k to produce 8 records.  After all of this, Kim has not held up her end of the bargain.
