Barack Obama and Sarah Palin are related, according to research done by genealogists at Ancestry.com.

Odds are against them running into each other at a picnic, but Obama could technically be joined by Rush Limbaugh and George W. Bush, too. Yup, they’re one big, uh, happy family.

The site, which claims to be the world’s largest online family history resource and is featured on the NBC show “Who Do You Think You Are?”, says that Obama and Palin are 10th cousins through an ancestor named John Smith. The president is also 10th cousins (once removed) with Limbaugh through Richmond Terrell.

The Bush political dynasty could hypothetically claim both Obama and Palin, who are each 11th cousins of former President George W. Bush.

Palin happens to be related to conservative commentator Ann Coulter and, more surprisingly, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid. They’re all cousins through John Lathrop, who was the minister of an illegal independent church in England and was exiled to the U.S.

And you probably thought there were big disagreements in your family.

It seems Ancestry.com finds these types of connections every year. In 2009 they announced that Obama was related to Warren Buffett, his 7th cousin three times removed, and Brad Pitt, his 9th cousin. In 2008, they revealed that Palin is a distant cousin to both Franklin D. Roosevelt and Princess Diana.

President-Elect

President-Elect Obama and his family are spending the holidays in Hawaii taking a very well-earned vacation.  His life has changed forever and he knows that the paps are going to always be closely behind him.  What noone was expecting was to see just how much his body has changed in the last two years.  As you can see from the before pictures, Obama was a bit flabby before.  It seems over the last two years, changing politics isn’t the only thing he’s been working at changing.

The after picture was taken yesterday at the secluded estate and beach that he and his family are residing at for the holidays.  And we must say, he’s got to be one of the sexiest, most fittest presidents to ever reside at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.  We have a feeling he won’t have any problem making the rest of the world fall in-line. Person of the Year

In what comes as no suprise to those of us that realized Barack Obama as our next President four years ago in the speech he gave at the 2004 Democratic Convention, Time has named him Person of the Year.  President-elect Obama is continuing to receive due recognition for his historic achievement.  We all know that it’s going to take more than four years to clean up the mess that President Bush has left behind, but we’re more than certain that this is the man that’s up for the task.

The Man of the Year

As if “we” didn’t already know, President-Elect Barack Obama has been named the “Man of the Year”.  Tell us something we didn’t already know.  Sometimes I hear this on a television show, or read it online that he’s actually the next president of the United States of America, and I STILL can’t believe I lived to see a black man get elected president of this country.

Secret Service is criticizing and blaming Sarah Palin for the death threats received by Barack Obama. The Lynch Mob atmosphere at her rallies and speeches attracted criticism for accusing Mr. President Elect Obama of “palling around with terrorists”, citing his association with the sixties radical William Ayers.

 Many supporters at her rallies were yelling “terrorist” and “kill him” until the McCain campaign ordered her to tone down the rhetoric. But it has now emerged that her demagogic tone may have unintentionally encouraged white supremacists to go even further. The Secret Service warned the Obama family in mid October that they had seen a dramatic increase in the number of threats against the Democratic candidate, coinciding with Mrs Palin’s attacks.

 Palin can’t win for losing.  But watch out, yall know she is crazy as hell and knows how to handle a big azz gun.
