D@mn, the foreclosure bug has bit Wyclef Jean in the azz. Seems like the recession is hitting up the stars as well.
Proving that foreclosures spare no one, a Miami Beach property owned by hip-hopper Wyclef Jean is about to be auctioned on the proverbial courthouse steps, according to court records.
Through a corporation he owns with friends, the former guitarist of The Fugees borrowed $2 million from Home Equity Mortgage Corp. in 2004.
He wanted to rebuild a canal-front home next door to Kennedy clan stalwart Anthony Shriver, Maria’s little brother.
But a series of construction liens filed since then shows the Pine Tree Drive project was burdened by a heap of financial trouble.
This is why you don’t do business with friends or family. We know it wasn’t you Wyclef…
We just want to know. Who do you think is more firece. Even Wearing a roll of toilet paper, Rhianna is one Bad Bitc#… Don’t get us wrong, Bey is fierce. But she definately has some competition in the fierce department.
Check the pics below from Bey’s new Diva video and pics of Rhi Rhi from the AMA’s.
Our boy Yeezy came to the American Music Awards last night sporting a fox tail and some ashy azz lips. We guess he will be getting a call from peta soon.
Michigan rapper, MC Breed, was found dead on Saturday (November 22) at a friend’s home in his home state, his publicist confirmed. The rapper (real name: Eric Breed) was just 36 years old.
Breed’s manager, Darryl Morris, told the The Detroit News that the rapper’s body was found at a friend’s home in Ypsilant, MI, where he had died in his sleep.
Further details regarding his death have not been released.
Breed was hospitalized in September, after collapsing during a pick-up basketball game in Atlanta. After being admitted to the hospital, the rapper was placed on life support for two days, due to kidney failure.
He slightly recovered from his illness. At press time, it is unclear if his previously health problems contributed to his death.
Almost immediately after the finale of “Real Housewives of Atlanta”, Dallas Austins’ Myspace page was updated to state that he is NOT working with Kim on an album, or anything else for that matter. Looks like Ms. Kim is gonna have to get her money the old-fashioned way, find another sugardaddy.
Check out Dallas Austin’s myspace page here. I knew this chick was a fraud, flake, and whatever other “F” word you can think of, but this is just plain embarassing.
If you haven’t heard about the altercation between NeNe and Kim during the Real Housewives of Atlanta reunion show, we have the video that makes it much clearer. The first time I saw this I couldn’t help but notice how the person that started all of this mess, Sheree, silently sits back and watches as NeNe and Kim almost come to blows.
As for those of you who think NeNe is ghetto, I have to disagree. The thing you MUST admire about her is her willingness to say what’s on her mind. At least you always know where she’s coming from. Peep Lisa jump down Kim’s azz after the break.
Sometimes, the celebrity lifestyle goes straight to these dudes heads. Enter, Katt Williams. I don’t even have to explain this one, the video says it all.
Brandy was spotted out shopping in California with Homey, Lover, Friend Tyrese. But, Whats up with her jeans? She looks like she got attacked by a wild animal or something.
Tyra Banks surprises Isis King, the first transgender contestant on America’s Next Top Model, with sex reassignment surgery in an episode of her talk show to air Tuesday.
“This is not happening!” King, who was born Darrell Walls, says when Banks introduces her to Dr. Marci Bowers, a leading gender reassignment surgeon who has experienced the surgery herself. Bowers is paying for the surgery.
“[I feel] like I’m about to wake up,” says King – who lived in a homeless shelter in Maryland before trying out for the show.
The 22-year-old hadn’t gone under the knife yet because she couldn’t afford the $20,000 to $35,000 price tag. Watch her tearfully explain putting off the surgery above.
“It’s hard. I try not to think about it because it is something I’m really passionate about,” she says. “I feel like I really was born in the wrong body, and it’s just the one thing that makes me feel uncomfortable.”
King wouldn’t allow photos of herself as a male shown on the 11th season of ANTM, but reveals them for the first time on The Tyra Banks Show.
Why was she hesitant about the pictures?
“I look at it like yes, I’m the first transgender contestant, but okay, lets move past it now,” King explains. “I’m just a woman trying to compete just like everyone else.”
