Wow! As a resident of Atlanta for more than two decades, I was shocked to hear that there was a pretty serious accident that actually left someone dead.
ATLANTA — Investigators are looking for the cause of a deadly bridge collapse at the Atlanta Botanical Gardens that killed one person and injured 18 others, four of them critically.
The incident happened around 9 a.m. at the entrance to the gardens on Piedmont Avenue at The Prado. Police said there were at least 30 people on the bridge when it gave way.
That’s horrible news. We’ll keep the victims of this random accident in our prayers. For those of you that have no clue what the Atlanta Botanical Gardens are, click here.
