His publicist isn’t confirming this information but many reports are circulating that Williams announced this in his Atlantic City show this past weekend.

Actually Katt’s “retirement from stand-up comedy” date is December 31. Steve Harvey and him have a show in Detroit, MI and before that there’s the Las Vegas Comedy Festival this month. I don’t see any new bookings added as of yet. You also should check YouTube for ‘Sweat Your Perm Out”, The Young Guns Diss (awesome) and his whole comedy/rap CD on his MySpace and/or his Official site. He’s not JUST giving comedy up for the rap game. He also has been reported to be getting more involved in film and TV as well as spending more time with his 8 children.
