In a recent interveiw with Ciara On Hot 97 with Angie Martinez, Ciara Spoke out about the controversy with Beyonce’s song “If I were a boy” and her hit song, “Like a Boy”.
Ciara says
“I choose not to get into the craziness of it,”
then she tries to be diplomatic and say:
“It’s definitely a different record and the same concept. I respect her and I think she’s an amazing performer.”
Ciara dmitted,
“I totally respect [Beyonce],” “The actual song is real. As women we go through it.”
Seems like Ci Ci has also felt the Beyonce effect. He album, “Fantasy Ride”, has also been pushed backed, it is scheduled to be released on January 27th.

I liked beyonce’s video, but I liked Ciara’s better. I like beyonce’s version of the song, but I like Ciara’s better. It was more uplifting….beyonce’s is just kind of depressing.
There is a case of marketing racism which reflects society.
